Côte de Beaune
Chassagne-Montrachet is a commune in Côte de Beaune in Burgundy, the Chassagne-Montrachet vineyard produced white and red wine with respectively Chardonnay and Pinot Noir as the main grape variety. Perrières is a Premier Cru vineyard at the southern end of Meursault considered by many to be the commune's best, and second in the Côte de Beaune only to the various Montrachet Grand Crus. Pommard is situated directly south of Beaune along the Route Des Grands Crus
in the Côte de Beaune sub-region of Burgundy famous for producing powerful and rich flavored red wines.
